The Home Emergency Response Program (HERP) provides immediate response and assistance to local families displaced by a residential fire or other incident. The program operates with on-call Township volunteers on a 24-hour cycle and responds to single family resident homes and multi-unit resident homes that have 2 - 4 units which are located in Bartlett, Elgin, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, and Streamwood.

This program provides assistance for residents requiring immediate housing following a disaster, as well as other resources.

To become a HERP volunteer, please call (630) 540-9085 or email info@hanover-township.org.
