Clerk Dolan BaumerServing is a habit with Katy Dolan Baumer, who believes that we can only better ourselves through service to others. As Clerk, accurate records maintenance and filing is the number one priority and one that Katy has the experience and ability to tackle.

Katy previously served for four years as Township Board Trustee and was part of a team that insured a stable financial environment. She currently serves as Vice President for the Township Officials of Cook County Clerks Association, Education District Director for the Township Officials of Illinois Clerks Division, Director for the Township Officials of Illinois, Commissioner on the Village of Streamwood Blood Commission, Past-Secretary Pro-tem and charter Board member for the U-46 Education Foundation, Secretary of the Elk Grove Village Lions Club, and Past President of the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce.

She served for 12 years as Trustee on the Poplar Creek Library Board during the building of the addition and feels that continuing service is the key to a healthy community. Katy is a member of the Streamwood Woman's Club and  in addition, she held the position of Secretary for the Streamwood Lions Club for nine years, was President of the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce for four consecutive terms, served as board member and past Secretary to the Hanover Township Mental Health Board, past Lioness Chair for Lions District 1-J, and Lioness Co-Chair for the State of Illinois Lions.

Katy is a resident of Streamwood and owns Katy's All Types Services desktop publishing, located in the Village, and as such, is very concerned about the business environment, taxes and the community's welfare. "It is an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Hanover Township in the capacity of Clerk," she stated.
