In November, a music therapist from Greater Chicago Music Therapy teaches us how music can support cognitive skills. The presentation focuses on social interaction, active engagement, and cognitive/sensory stimulation. Please note: Only light refreshments are served in November due to the nature of the activity. In December, Historian Jim Gibbons presents on the tragic 1958 Our Lady of the Angels School fire in Chicago, in which 92 children and three nuns lost their lives.
