Hanover Township is hosting an in-person open house public informational meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 5:30PM - 7PM at the Township Senior Center (240 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett) regarding the Rohrssen Road Bridge Replacement Project. There will be no formal presentation. This project includes the demolition and replacement of the bridge along Rohrssen Road crossing Poplar Creek (between Chicago Street and Bode Road) as well as roadway reconstruction to meet current standards and improve safety.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
• Present the purpose and need for the project.
• Present the proposed improvement plans, including a portion of the project impacting Section 4(f) Land (Rolling Knolls Forest Preserve).
• Provide an opportunity for public comments and input.
Township and County representatives and project consultants will be on hand to walk you through the board exhibits and answer questions.
