In the Kitchen with Chef Pina

Wednesdays: May 6 and 20, June 3 and 17

2:00 – 4:00 P.M.         Donation: $23

Chef Pina demonstrates how to prepare healthy meals and discusses health benefits, history, and the culture behind the food. Bring containers so you can take samples home. Each menu is a chef’s surprise from locally grown, seasonal options and includes an appetizer, fresh bread, a protein, vegetable, and dessert. 5/6 – Chicken Florentine, spring salad

5/20 – Salmon stuffed with spinach and feta, spinach and orzo pasta, spring soup

6/3 – Steak fajitas, sauces and chips, tortilla soup

6/17 – Creole style shrimp and sausage gumbo, eggplant dish
