Mayor Rodney Craig’s Kids at Hope Coalition will be sponsoring their annual Community Health & Resource Fair on Saturday April 27, 2024. The Community Health & Resource Fair will be held at the Hanover Park Park District located at 1919 Walnut Avenue in Hanover Park from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Community Health & Resource Fair is designed to provide information and resources to youth and families in the Village of Hanover Park. Come to the event to mingle with 50+ vendors to learn what programs and services they provide. There will be free giveaways, health screenings, games and activities for children, a face painter, vision tests courtesy of the Hanover Park Lions Club, and Child I.D. Kits courtesy of the Illinois State Police. There will be performances by the Hanover Park Park District dance and theatre groups, Keeneyville ARTZiE Kidz, the Spring Wood Symphonic Band, and Grupo Folklórico Quetzal. Prizes will be raffled off – the grand prizes are a family pool pass to Seafari Springs Aquatic Center and tickets to a Schaumburg Boomers game! Each attendee gets one free raffle ticket. Extra tickets can be earned by bringing donations for the Hanover Township Food Pantry. One non-perishable food item earns one ticket (limit 5). This will be a FREE, fun, and informative event for all!
