Chef Pina demonstrates how to prepare healthy meals and discusses health benefits, history, and culture behind the food. Bring containers so you can take samples home. Each menu is a chef’s surprise from locally grown, seasonal options and includes an appetizer, fresh bread, a protein, vegetable, and dessert.To register or for more information, please call (630) 483-5600.

Menu:

11/12 – Appetizer with filo cups, South Carolina shrimp burger

with tartare sauce, and clam chowder

11/26 – Hawaiian style fried chicken, Hawaiian salad, and soup

12/3– A classic beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce, garlic

mashed potatoes with ginger glazed carrots

**All meals are served with bread, dessert, and more**
