The style of tai chi practiced in Jim and Cindy's classes is the Yang style, which is a very gentle and flowing form of physical and mental exercise that is appropriate for older adults. Tai chi and gigong offer a gentle rhythmic set of movements that are coordinated with breathing to achieve greater physical stamina, energy, and relaxation.
