Mah-Jongg: Elgin Site
Tuesdays, May 8 - 29, 1:00 PM, Elgin Site - One American Way. Auxiliary Staff Instructor, Nellie Lannin will teach you how to "pung," "chow" and "mahjong" in Wright Patterson's version of this popular Oriental tile game. Passport to Wellness
Tuesday, May 22, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Bartlett Park District. Free for ages 65 and older. Have fun while you find out where you stand in a number of key wellness areas - physical, financial, the five senses, and more. When you arrive, you will receive your own passport with a list of "Ports of Call," each one a screening station. When you leave, you will visit with a health professional for an overall review of results and recommendations. A faculty member from the University of Illinois had developed this program over the past five years. We are pleased to be able to offer it in both Streamwood and Bartlett Park Districts for your convenience. No registration required, please bring a friend!
