Hanover Township welcomed Pennsylvania Congressman Lou Barletta to the Township senior center this morning for a round table discussion with local police and fire chiefs, along with emergency services leaders.

Congressman Barletta is a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

The congressman provided an update on the current issues from the nation's capital and heard from attendees on challenges facing local leaders.

Following the event Congressman Barletta toured the Hanover Township Emergency Services (HTES) station in downtown Bartlett, learning about the work they perform in the community.
