Hanover Township Board confirms committee appointments
The Township welcomes Faiza Rahim and Denise Camacho!
The Hanover Township Board of Trustees approved two residents for Township committees at the July 16 Board meeting. Officials appointed Faiza Rahim to the Mental Health Board and Denise Camacho to the Committee on Youth.
“Committee members provide valuable insight that assists the Township in developing programs and services,” said Hanover Township Supervisor Brian McGuire. “These volunteers work closely with staff and the officials in having a direct impact on improving the quality of life for our community.”
Rahim, a resident of Hanover Park, brings a strong background to the Board with her years of volunteer experience with Family Service Agency, Opportunity House, and Best Buddies.
Camacho, a resident of Streamwood, has a background in the mortgage industry, and as a mother of a six-year-old child, she is looking to make difference in the lives of youth in the Township.
The Township Board also approved committee liaison appointments for the next year with Trustee Craig Essick working with the Senior Citizens’ Services Committee, Trustee Alisa “Lee” Beattie with the Committee on Youth, Trustee Khaja Moinuddin serving on the Mental Health Board, and Trustee Eugene Martinez chairing the Finance Committee.
Hanover Township serves over 101,000 residents in the communities of Streamwood, Elgin, Bartlett, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg.
