Hanover Township Tutoring program to begin for Spring Semester

Open to all Hanover Township students!

Post Date:12/31/2018 9:30 AM

The Hanover Township Tutoring program kicks off on February 12 at Streamwood High School, 701 West Schaumburg Road, Streamwood. For $45 per semester, the program offers board certified teachers for students in grades 2 – 12, who can teach and assist students with their academics.

“Last year 236 students participated in the Township’s tutoring program,” said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township Supervisor. “I would encourage parents who have any concerns about their child’s academic performance to contact the Township.”

Tutoring groups are developed based on age, subject matter, and learning needs that are identified by referring teachers.  Children who attend regularly and bring their school materials/assignments to each session improve in academic performance and become more self-confident.

For questions about the Hanover Township tutoring program, or to register, please feel free to call Michelle Avila at 630-483-5799 or email mavila@hanover-township.org.
